Additional Information

Time Schedule

Generally, the school days are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. for grades 1-12. Our half-day Kindergarten hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. OR 11:45 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. There are some school Fridays (see the current school year calendar for these details).

Support Services

PACT Charter School provides Special Education services as required by state and federal law. Parents may request that their child be assessed in order to determine eligibility. Special Education professionals will facilitate evaluation and services. Criteria for eligibility must be met before a child can be placed in the program.

Progress Reporting

  • Elementary report cards are sent home at the end of each quarter.
  • Secondary report cards are sent home at the end of each semester, with mid-term progress reports distributed as well.
  • There are two to three parent-student-teacher conferences per year (often student-led depending on grade).
  • PACT administers annual standardized norm-reference tests to students in grades K-11 (NWEA Measures of Academic Progress) and all required Minnesota State tests.

Transportation

  • PACT provides bus transportation, with routes usually less than one hour long and stops typically within one mile of riders' homes.
  • Routes are established during the summer months; new families need to work with the Transportation Coordinator.
  • Bus service is provided for 8:00 a.m. arrivals and 3:05 p.m. dismissal only. There is NO mid-day transportation for Kindergarten.

PACT bussing is contracted through American Transportation. All busses will have the PACT logo on each bus.
