PURPOSE

Cumulative Service Recognition intends to recognize the total service of PACT employees.

 

SCOPE

The program applies to full and regular part-time staff employed at PACT Charter School.

 

PROGRAM

Total cumulative service will count toward recognition awards. Effective immediately, total service will be credited for recognition award purposes.

 

RECOGNITION AWARDS

Each year PACT Charter School will recognize the service of these groups of employees:

  1. those whose fifth anniversary of service falls in the calendar year; and
  2. those whose tenth anniversary of service falls in the calendar year; and
  3. those whose fifteenth anniversary of service falls in the calendar year; and
  4. those whose twentieth anniversary of service falls in the same calendar year.
  5. those whose twenty-fifth anniversary of service falls in the same calendar year.
  6. those whose thirtieth anniversary of service falls in the same calendar year.
  7. those whose thirty-fifth anniversary of service falls in the same calendar year.

Employees with the above service will receive a pin and certificate.

 

PRESENTATION OF AWARDS

The Executive Directors and the  School Board Chair will present the recognition awards annually in May at the end of the school year. The members of the School Board will be invited to attend.

 

PROCEDURE

Employees with the previous service at PACT Charter School should contact Human Resource Services and provide Human Resources with information related to their previous employment periods. Human Resource Services will review the employment information and will update the cumulative service record as appropriate.
