After 25 years at PACT Charter School, Mary Levy is retiring. She started in 1996 when the school was still located at the Old Milk Factory in Anoka and has seen a lot of growth and change. Mary served as the Speech Pathologist for 25 years, and for 22 of those years has been the Lead of Support Services. Mary has also served on the PACT School Board of Directors for nearly 14 years. But, her most notable accomplishment is her compassion and concern for all members of the PACT community, especially the students who need extra learning support.
In the years I’ve worked with Mary, her commitment to excellence has been easy to see and something to aspire to. Her leadership skills have promoted PACT’s values. As a department leader, she has demonstrated a willingness to problem-solve and seek out solutions, helping the special education department work toward growth in supporting PACT students. Even though she is often more comfortable behind the scenes doing amazing work, her hard work does not go unnoticed. ~ Lisa Holmquist, PACT Social Worker
