PACT Charter School leadership is committed to gaining a comprehensive, data-driven understanding of how to achieve its mission and focus areas best. To this end, we conduct an annual quantitative climate survey among three primary stakeholder groups: parents, staff, and students. This survey assesses satisfaction in four critical areas aligned with PACT's mission: Academic Excellence, Character Development, Partnership and Collaboration, and Safety and Wellness.
Survey Goals and Interpretation
PACT has set a satisfaction goal of 80% for each stakeholder group in the four key areas. Achieving this level is considered indicative of success. When analyzing the data, priority is given to areas with consistently low satisfaction or specific attributes that significantly impact a particular area. Based on the reported data, focusing on a single goal might be more effective than multiple goals.
The survey also includes data on neutrality and dissatisfaction for a comprehensive understanding, providing a rounded view for setting school goals. In some instances, neutral responses are extracted for a clearer look at overall satisfaction. Data charts are available for review, with percentages displayed without the % sign. Areas highlighted in red indicate either satisfaction levels at or below 65% or instances where dissatisfaction exceeds the desired threshold by 15%.
Survey Results and Conclusion
The survey data reveals varied experiences and perspectives among stakeholders. While there is appreciation for the dedicated staff, character education, and supportive environment, concerns have been raised regarding academic standards, student behavior and discipline, communication, specific departments, and administrative transparency. Addressing these areas could enhance overall satisfaction and create a more positive school climate for all stakeholders.
