Transfer students to PACT in grades 9-12 will receive credit for classes taken at previous school(s) if earned (passing grade of D- or higher), equal to the number of credits available to earn at PACT in one year (7.25).

The formula for calculating is as follows::

7.75  /  [# credits possible to earn per year at previous school(s)] = transfer ratio

If a student transfers mid-term, then a progress report will be used for current term grades.  The transfer ratio will be multiplied by the percent of the term completed to the date of the progress report.  Transfer students will earn a year credit toward graduation requirements for the equivalent of 1-year completion of a class, even though their transcript credit may report less.

Transfer credits are calculated in the same manner for homeschool students.

PSEO credits transfer differently and can be found in the 613_College Credit Course Policy.

Students should refer to the PACT Charter School 604_Graduation Requirements Policy to determine credits earned and required for graduation.
