Veterans Day Program: Valor, Courage, and Loyalty

By Christine Erntson, marketing and communication coordinator at PACT Charter School

At PACT Charter School, we believe in teaching the whole child and intentionally teach nine character qualities to our students. Our character qualities for October and November are Citizenship and Gratitude.

Veterans Day is a wonderful opportunity to display those qualities! PACT Charter School invites military veterans and PACT families to our Annual Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11 at 8:15 a.m. in the PACT Gym. The event will feature a mix of testimony, music, and spectacle that we know you won’t want to miss:

  • Presentation of colors by the Coon Rapids VFW
  • Selections from the K-4 music, 5/6 Choir,  PACT 7/8 Choir, Concert Choir and Concert Band
  • History Channel Video: “Bet You Didn’t Know”
  • Salute to PACT family veterans
  • Guest Speakers: Staff Sergeant David Putman (U.S. Army) and Representative John Heinrich (Minnesota House of Representatives)

We look forward to a special time of helping our students learn about, understand, and show appreciation for the sacrifices our brave veterans have made. We hope you will join us.
