Budget and Finance Committee

The Budget and Finance Committee (BFC) provides oversight of the finances and financial policies of PACT Charter School to ensure high integrity professional accounting practices are followed, and provide effective communication related to financial matters.

BFC also ensures there is a prudent use of school funds and adherence to the approved budget, while providing relevant information and guidance to the PACT School Board.

Budget and Finance Committee Membership

The Budget and Finance Committee is an elected committee that interacts with other committees including the PACT School Board. Membership is up to nine (9) members consisting of six (6) elected parents, the HR/Finance Manager, Board Treasurer and the Executive Director. Voting members are the elected parents. The Executive Director, HR/Finance Manager and Board Treasurer are non-voting members and serve as advisors. Parent members are elected to overlapping two-year terms through public elections. A parent member may be removed for non-attendance of three or more consecutive meetings. The Board may appoint members if vacancies occur.
