Middle School: Exploration and Formation

The middle school experience is where we see our students in grades 6-8 start to challenge themselves by exploring the world around them. PACT programs and curriculum test students in core subject areas but offer more opportunities in the arts, honors, and language.

From Elementary to Secondary:
Where Panthers RISE

Moving from Elementary to Secondary is an exciting step in a student’s journey. We help students develop independence, leadership, and new opportunities at PACT Secondary. Highlights include:

  1. Structure & Schedule: Students move between classes and teachers, gaining independence and managing their own schedules.
  2. Instructional Focus: Focus shifts from foundational skills to specialized subjects, critical thinking, and college/career readiness.
  3. Student Independence: Students take ownership of assignments, organization, and communication with teachers.
  4. Extracurricular Opportunities: Sports, fine arts, leadership groups, and clubs offer countless ways to explore interests.
  5. Behavior & Accountability: Students rise to higher standards, learning responsibility through consistent expectations and restorative practices.

At PACT, the transition to Secondary isn’t just about moving to a new building—it’s about embracing new opportunities. Our caring teachers and staff support students as they take on more responsibility, gain confidence, and find their passions. With a mix of structure, encouragement, and chances to grow, PACT Secondary is where students truly start to thrive.
