PACT Charter School is excited to announce its partnership with TRIA Orthopedics to provide care to our athletes starting in the fall of 2023!
A leader in orthopedic treatment, rehabilitation, and injury prevention, TRIA will offer PACT athletes on-site medical care during practices, games, and competitions. Our Athletic Trainer (AT) will be at the school at the end of the school day for practices and home games. Coverage at home events includes the following sports: football, boys and girls soccer, volleyball, cross country, boys and girls basketball, dance, softball, baseball, and track.
If further medical care is needed, PACT students get priority appointments at TRIA’s Maple Grove location.
An exciting part of this partnership is that our on-site AT is a PACT Alumna! Kelsey Field ‘14 is a certified AT with TRIA and will be in the athletic training room near our weight room. Ms. Field has stayed connected with our staff and students since she graduated and is our varsity dance coach. As a student-athlete at PACT, she was part of the PACT Dance Team that went to state in 2014 – the first PACT sport to qualify for a state tournament.
In response to this opportunity, Ms. Field said, “TRIA will be partnering with PACT so I can stay with my current employer that I love while serving a school that I love and a community I have been a part of for over 15 years. I never imagined I’d have a job that helped me reach all goals, including remaining at PACT as the dance coach.”
We are thrilled at this unique opportunity for a school our size and our ability to provide this service to our athletes.
