4 Modes of Transportation

  1. School Bus
  2. Car Pick-Up / Drop-Off
  3. Student Driving
  4. Bicycling

School Bus

PACT partners with American Transportation to provide safe passage for our students to and from school. Buses have the PACT logo near the bus door - and many drivers have been with us for many years, so students are known and cared for.

Service Areas

PACT provides free transportation throughout much of the Anoka-Hennepin School District area, and portions of the Elk River School District, and St. Francis. Ten routes serve over 100 bus stops in Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin, Coon Rapids, Elk River, Nowthen, Oak Grove, Ramsey, and St. Francis. Many "satellite stops" may require parents to drive to. For the safety of our students, bus routes are not published online.

Note: There is no mid-day bus transportation for half-day kindergarten students.

Bus Registration

Families interested in having their students ride the bus should fill out a Bus Transportation Registration Form.

MyStop App

American Transportation has a School Bus Tracking App called  "MyStop." Call or text the MyStop app hotline for more information at 612-900-7821. Use this number for app questions, do not call the American Dispatch, as they will refer you to this number.

Questions or concerns regarding busing:

Contact American Transportation at 651-621-8900 and identify yourself as a PACT parent.

Car Drop-off / Pick-Up

Elementary Campus Drop-Up / Pick-Up Procedures

In the morning: Please use the car drop-off/pick-up lane off Sunwood Drive and Peridot Street when transporting your student to school. The flow is one-way at the west entrance (door #3) by the flagpole. Please do not drop your student by the school office (door #1).

In the afternoon: Enter at the intersection of Rhinestone Street NW and Sunwood Drive NW. The line will turn down 145th Avenue as it approaches our parking lot. The intersection of Sunwood Drive NW and Peridot Street NW will be blocked with cones, and staff will be waving cars on to enter our carpool line at Rhinestone Street.
Half-Day Kindergarten Procedures
Half-day kindergarten students should be picked up in the bus lane on the west side of the building (by the flagpole, door #3) at 12:15 p.m. Please wait; a staff member will bring your student out to meet you.

Elementary Silent Dismissal

PACT wants to ensure we have safe and orderly end-of-day dismissal procedures. Silent Dismissal™ alerts classroom teachers when a parent/guardian has arrived to the pick-up lane and allows parents/guardians the ability to change their student’s dismissal plans without contacting the school office.

This is an online system that
all PACT K-5 families will use to tell the school exactly how they want their children dismissed at the end of each school day. This may include car pick-up, bus, walking, or staying for an after-school activity. PACT requires that families use this system so that the school can provide a safe and accurate dismissal for every child.

Secondary Campus Drop-Up / Pick-Up Procedures

Please use the car drop-off/pick-up lane off 161st Avenue NW when transporting your student to and from school.

In the afternoon, when the line on the east side fills, vehicles can enter our lot on the SW side, line up around the building to the back, and enter the pick-up lane on the NE side of the building.

Please do not sit or park on 161st Avenue NW.
Bus Option to Elementary Campus

Secondary students with siblings at the Elementary Campus can board any bus at the Secondary Campus to go to the Elementary Campus for vehicle pick-up. This way, families with students at both campuses will only need to enter the pick-up line at the Elementary Campus rather than both schools. Since buses will not arrive at the Elementary Campus until 3:15 p.m., families should park in the Elementary lot or arrive after 3:15 p.m. to keep the vehicle line moving for those only picking up Elementary students.

Secondary Student Driving

Students who drive to school are asked to obtain a parking permit to park in the PACT Charter School student parking lot. Priority for parking permits will be given to upperclassmen based on available space. Student parking is available at the back of the school by the Activities Entrance.

Bicycle

PACT provides a secure bike rack at the office entrance (Elementary Campus) and activities entrance (Secondary Campus) for students who ride their bikes to and from school. Students who ride their bikes are strongly encouraged to wear helmets and have their bicycles equipped with front and rear lights, a water bottle holder, and a portable tire pump.
