3 Modes of Transportation

  1. School Bus
  2. Carpool
  3. Student Parking

School Bus

PACT partners with American Transportation to provide safe passage for our students to and from school. Buses have the PACT logo near the bus door - and many drivers have been with us for many years, so students are known and cared for.

Service Area

PACT provides free transportation throughout the Anoka-Hennepin School District area, and portions of the Elk River School District, and St. Francis. Seven routes service more than 100 bus stops in Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Coon Rapids, Dayton, Elk River, Nowthen, Oak Grove, Ramsey, and St. Francis. Many stops are "satellite stops" that may require parents to drive to. For the safety of our students, bus routes are posted on Infinite Campus and can only be viewed by PACT families.

Note: There is no mid-day transportation for half-day kindergarten students.

MyStop Bus App

This web-based application is available for all PACT parents whose students ride the bus. The app lets you see when the bus will be at your student's bus stop. Powered by GPS transmission, it updates every 1-2 minutes.

American Transportation sends login information. Call or text the MyStop app hotline at 612-900-7821 if help is needed.

Carpool

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures

Please use the carpool lane off Sunwood Drive and Peridot Street when transporting your student to and from school. The flow is one-way at the west entrance (door #3) by the flagpole. Our trained Safety Patrols and school personnel will direct traffic in the lanes from 7:45-8 a.m. and 3:05-3:15 p.m. Families picking up students at the end of the day will enter the carpool lane from Rhinestone ST NW. Please pull as far forward as possible.

Please do not drop your student by the school office (door #1).

Cold weather release: When the temperature or windchill is below zero, we do a cold-weather release for students at the end of the day. Elementary students wait by the flagpole entryway to watch for their ride. Secondary students are released through the science room.

Half-Day Kindergarten Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Half-day kindergarten students should be picked up in the bus lane on the east side of the building (by the playground, door #2) at 11:30 a.m. Students should not be dropped off in front of the building.

Reminders

  • Please use the crosswalk controlled by the Safety Patrol at all times
  • Students should exit the vehicle on the passenger side of the car.
  • Students may exit the vehicle in the morning anywhere along the sidewalk, but please pull forward to keep the flow of traffic moving.
  • After school, students must be picked up on the left side of the crosswalk.
  • Please be patient, attentive, and calm in the carpool lane.
  • Vehicles must yield to buses on school property.

Student Parking

Students who drive to school are asked to obtain a parking permit to park in the PACT Charter School student parking lot. Priority for parking permits will be given to upperclassmen based on available space.
