I am pleased to announce the hiring of Tracy Peters as our new Executive Director of Human Resources and Operations. This role is pivotal to our school community, and I am excited to have her join PACT’s leadership team.
Ms. Peters brings a wealth of experience in both human resources and operational management, with a strong track record of fostering a positive work environment and driving operational efficiency. With more than 15 years of experience in human resources and financial management, she has served as an Operations Manager for the University of Minnesota, Vice President of Portfolio Management for BMO Harris Bank, contract finance consultant for Salo LLC, Finance and HR Director for the city of Princeton, and most recently as the Senior Director of Risk and Compliance for Community Reinvestment Fund, USA. She earned her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Northwestern–St. Paul, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota–Carlson School of Management.
Ms. Peters' unique perspective as a parent of PACT elementary students, in addition to her professional expertise, makes her an invaluable addition. Her strong desire to see PACT succeed is evident in her role as the Budget and Finance Committee Chair, where she has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to our district's financial health. She will continue to support operational departments in budget oversight.
In her new role, Ms. Peters will oversee our human resource functions, including recruitment, retention, and staff well-being, and manage the operational aspects of our schools to ensure that we continue to provide a safe and effective learning environment for all. Her leadership will support our mission and ensure our staff and students thrive.
Ms. Peters' leadership, with its unique blend of professional expertise and personal investment, is poised to bring about positive change in our school community. Her eagerness to get to know our systems and work collaboratively with each of you is a testament to her commitment. Please join me in welcoming Tracy Peters to our team. Her official start date is September 5, 2024.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our students and mission. Your contributions are invaluable and greatly appreciated. We look forward to your continued partnership as we strive for excellence.
Warm regards,
Nathan Flansburg
