PACT Community Members,
As we bring this school year to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for making this an incredible year of growth, partnership, and community. Together, we’ve celebrated achievements, both big and small, and we’ve witnessed the power of learning in action.
Our students have grown tremendously, both academically and in their character traits. Through their hard work and curiosity, we’ve seen progress in classrooms, on assignments, and, most importantly, in their confidence as learners. The dedication of our students inspires all of us every day and reminds us why we do this work. Our students are the heart and soul of our schools, the reason PACT exists, and it brings us immense joy to walk alongside them as they grow in both knowledge and wisdom.
This growth would not be possible without our amazing families, who have contributed thousands of hours volunteering to support classrooms, events, and programs. Whether reading with students, chaperoning field trips, helping in the library, or supporting school-wide events, your commitment to PACT makes us who we are: a supportive environment that is vibrant and filled with energy.
To our teachers and staff, your passion and perseverance have been the foundation of this year’s success. You have gone above and beyond to nurture the minds and hearts of our students, meeting them where they are and guiding them with care and expertise. Your work is seen, valued, and appreciated.
As summer approaches, I encourage all our families and staff to enjoy a well-deserved break while also embracing the opportunity for learning that exists outside the classroom. The world is full of ways to continue growing, whether through exploring patterns in nature during hikes, visiting science museums, stargazing at constellations and planets at night, or cooking a family meal together using measurements and proportions. Most importantly, focus on time with your loved ones, stay curious, and read books. Ask “why” and “how” and go searching for answers together.
Parents, thank you for entrusting us with your children. It is an honor and a privilege to support their journey. As a parent, I know all too well the phrase, “The days are long, but the years are short.”
Finally, to our graduating seniors, we wish you well as this chapter of our journey comes to an end. Remember, you have only finished the first chapter of your story. The road ahead is filled with adventure. Enjoy the journey in whatever you do. You are now alumni of PACT, and once a Panther, always a Panther!
Warm regards,
Dr. Nathan A. Flansburg
