Elementary Student Council

Welcome to Elementary Student Council

Eligible Grades

Students in grades 3-5.

What's Involved

Student Council consists of students who work together to plan school-wide events and offer volunteer opportunities. We aim to build community and school spirit by creating shared memories of your time at PACT. We do this with events like fundraisers for the school, fundraisers for charity, spirit weeks, and school-wide character engagement. Student Council meets once a month after school to focus on planning and meeting those events.

Beyond that, and most of all, the Student Council is an opportunity for ALL students to develop leadership. Just like our PACT character traits, leadership is a skill that must be developed on purpose. Student Council is the perfect place to learn how to be a leader, see leadership in action, and apply it in your own life!

How to Join

At the beginning of each school year, students in grades 3-5 are given the opportunity to present a short speech to their classrooms. Classes vote on one student council representative to elect members. The student council President and Vice President are selected from current student council representatives the prior year.
