Trap and Skeet

Welcome to Panthers Trap and Skeet!

PACT Charter School has been a proud Minnesota High School Clay Target League member since early 2015. Each year participation has grown as interest in shooting sports has spread across the country. The League’s co-ed and adaptive nature are key attractions to high schools in Minnesota. The League is fully Title IX compliant, with male and female athletes competing on the same team. Additionally, it’s an ‘adaptive’ sport, which allows students with physical disabilities to take part. Minnesota had nearly 12,000 students from 349 high schools participate in the spring 2018 season.

To be eligible for the Independent Provider Extracurricular Lettering Program, the shooting sport student-athlete must meet the following criteria:

  1. The athlete must be a student of PACT Charter School in grades 7-12.
  2. Homeschooled athletes in this school district are also eligible.
  3. The athlete must abide by PACT Charter School and Minnesota State High School Clay Target League activity requirements.
  4. Must have participated in a minimum of 2 trap and skeettrap seasons (spring and/or fall). They do not need to be in the same school year, but cannot be separated by more than one season (spring or fall).
  5. The athlete must average 20 or more points per round in competition play at the end of the season.
  6. The athlete must not miss any competition weeks during the season.
  7. The athlete must adhere to all school district rules, policies and requirements concerning student activities including, but not limited to, attendance, conduct, scholastic standing, and other eligibility requirements.

The athlete may participate in the State Tournament. If a student-athlete fails to adhere to the Qualification and Requirements for Lettering, the athlete forfeits the right to letter for that season.

Note all tracking of lettering requirements is to be done by the advisor/coaches of the activity.
